What gets measured. Get done

We are still at the initial stage of MVP. I found myself second-guessing which features to develop and what not to build because these two are incredibly important to get right.

After spending a big chunk of time interviewing customers face to face and screencast. I got a good sense of the direction I want to take Netgoals. BUT we lacked the concrete vision and prioritization to execute due to the lack of discipline and concrete structure to follow

Faced with this problem, I started to look into the Metric frameworks used by Entrepreneurs and Product Managers. The aim is to have a goal to execute what needs to be done without too much guesswork. It is a great start to have a framework to give us a guiding path even though we lack proven data.

A screenshot of what a HEART framework look like in general. I blocked out our goals but the highlights are still there. This is simple enough to do on Excel.

I had two options, the HEART Framework and the AARRR framework. I decided to go with the HEART framework in this instance because it works for us and the problems we have at hand.
The difference it makes is tremendous, we can see clearly(semi) where to focus our vision and what to prioritize by having a structure in place. The result will take time to see whether it will work for us, but it is a great start, I look toward to the data it gives us.
